You can keep your job if you are efficient. If you really work hard and produce results using the resources at your disposal, then you will not have to worry about unemployment. You also need to learn to be proficient if you are to avoid loosing your job. Make sure that you have the optimal level of knowledge and experience in your professional field. Lastly, you should never depend on anyone to do the work for you. If you start a project, you should do it and do it well to completion and no one will fire you.
